It’s graduation season and I’ve got a fun DIY to help you celebrate your rad grad. Introducing, graduation cap cupcake stands. Graduation capcakes?! These paper podiums are the perfect display for your fave smart cookies. Bonus feature- when you’ve finished your treat you get to throw another cap in the air! Hooray!

  • Black Construction Paper
  • Gold String
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Hot Glue Gun

Gather materials. Cut out a 3” square, a 2” x 8” strip and a small circle. Hot glue the ends of the strip together to form a ring. Wrap string around two fingers 10-15 times. Carefully remove bunch from your fingers and tie off ¼” from one end. Cut and trim opposite end. Attach a long string to tassel. Glue tassel to center of the square and secure it in place with the small circle cutout. Tape cap top and bottom together. Top with cupcakes. Enjoy!
