It seems I have a slight obsession with candy right now. I’ve been eating it, making it, putting it on my wall... and now I’ve gone and hung it on my Christmas tree! Yep, those colorful lights you see a-danglin’ are in fact edible jelly beans. I love how similar they look to Christmas lights on this mini tree. They are the absolute perfect size! Now, before you go and tell me it’s wrong to string food from your Christmas tree, let me remind you of popcorn garland! I bet popcorn’s way more perishable than gummy candy. So, who’s ready to try this quick and easy DIY? It’s guaranteed to spruce up your mini Christmas tree...and make all your friends jelly.
- Large Needle
- Thick White Thread
- Jelly Beans
Gather materials. Cut thread the desired length of your garland. Thread needle. Tie a knot at the end of thread. String jelly beans onto thread one by one. Continue stringing all jelly beans, leaving space in between beans. Tie off end. Hang finished garland from your mini tree. Enjoy!
