Pacific Northwest Road Trip Roundup
We’re back! And what a wild and crazy adventure it was! Together, Nick and I journeyed 2500 miles around the Pacific Northwest, stopping in 7 cities in 10 days. Dunsmuir, Bend, Portland, Yachats, Cave Junction, Napa, Healdsburg. (and that’s not counting the towns we stopped at in between) We drove along volcanos, lakes, rivers and coastline through countryside, forests, mountains, vineyards, fog, snow and fire. We hiked Crater Lake, Smith Rock and Multnomah Falls, biked through Bend and Portland, saw Mt. Shasta, Mt Hood, Tillamook, Heceta Head Lighthouse, Haystack Rock, sneaker waves, and a pack of wild elk.
We drank craft beer from famous breweries and wine from Napa. We ate excellent food from all over and somehow didn’t explode. Not even after Portland’s schnitzelwich. We slept in a red vintage train car, at a railroad resort. We saw the sun set over the ocean and rise over treetops. Every day we took the scenic route, stopping whenever and wherever we wanted. It was the best adventure we’ve taken yet and it had a pretty incredible grand finale... Stay tuned for some big exciting news, coming tomorrow! Happy to be home!
