Beach Ball Cake Topper

More beach balls! Summer ain’t over yet, and you can bet I’ll be churning out summer DIYs up until September 23rd. To those people already posting about back-to-school, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!! We still have over a month left. And I’m going to make the most of it. Here to help is a colorful beach ball cake topper! The perfect way to top the cake at that final beach bash you’re planning. Or pool party, baby. Let's dive in!

  • Wooden Beads
  • Craft Paint (red, yellow, blue & white)
  • Bakers Twine
  • Cake Pop Sticks
  • Scissors
  • Paintbrush

Gather materials. Paint beads white. A trick to paint all sides without getting your fingers covered in paint- string the beads onto a piece of string, then pull it tightly and tape over a bowl. Let white paint dry. Paint red stripe and let dry. Paint blue stripe and let dry. Paint yellow stripe and let dry. String beads onto bakers twine leaving a little bit of room between each bead. Tie twine to cake pop sticks and trim excess. Top cake. Enjoy!
