A Look Inside the Madonna Inn

Without further ado I bring to you the Love Nest, quite possibly the best room at the Madonna Inn. As you can see, everything in this room, much like the rest of the Madonna Inn, is pink; the wooden walls and ceiling, shag carpet, bathroom shower, duvet and trim. The prominently pink room is accented with actual love nest chandeliers and light fixtures, heart trim, glass swan shaped lamps, floral wallpaper, silver lined royal chairs and a dramatic lounging couch covered in textured pillows. But the best part, and obvious focal point of the room is the grand spiral staircase that leads to a lookout tower and magnificent view of the area. I promise, the staircase and view are totally worth the many flights of stairs you must climb to get to the Love Nest.

I included a slice of the Madonna Inn’s pink champagne cake in the shoot because it’s super famous and well delicious. A friend of mine in college was so in love with this cake that we actually drove up and got her one for her birthday. Yes, it’s that good. You'll also notice a bottle of actual champagne, complementary to celebrate our anniversary and addressed to Mr and Mrs. Giancola, which made us laugh but was also kind of sweet. You’d think I’d be wearing pink in this shoot, but if you can believe it, I don’t own a single pink dress. In retrospect my lack of pink is probably a good thing as I might be far too camouflaged. But I think the shiny bright butterfly dress and red sequined stilettos do the room justice. Don’t you?

So there you have it! A peak inside the Love Nest at the famous Madonna Inn and a look to match. But wait! There are still 109 unique rooms we haven’t seen, the Caveman, Barrel of Fun, Sugar and Spice… what’s next?
